-meI'm gonna have to stop participating in this challenge and the others I am in because there's no way I'll be WSL anytime soon. By choice I cut my hair short a week ago. <3 So, for now I'm gonna enjoy the baby stage. Good luck everyone!!!! I will still be lurking this thread constantly.

Amber - Awww! Your hair looks sooo healthy! What was the inspiration for The chop? Hate to see you go but I hope you enjoy your new cut.
AFM - I guess this is my "official" check in since I didnt exactly update in my other comments. I will do a photo later today but it will be of a protective style. I have decided to embrace my inner basketball Wife and do the E. Lozada high bun for I while. I am gonna do an all weave bang for max protection. I haven't worn it in ages so it will be an old gave revived. I need to make a length check shirt too. I also have decided to forgo heat for as long as I can. I get the most breakage during straightening.

School is starting soon and I hope I can keep up with my regimen. All that work plus actual work always knocks me off my hair game. I got a goal to make darn it!

Check-in: my hair in the front is steadily growing I feel it has grown my hair in the back is just barely touching my bra strap... Ive been wearing Bantu knot outs for the past three days so I'm not sure how long it is exactly at the moment but my hair is getting thicker

Awwww AmberColour, I completely understand Just know healthy short hair trumps unhealthy long hair any day.
Nightly, I've been moisturizing, sealing, and baggying. I've been sealing using the LOC (liquid, oil, cream) method. I've been using a rosemary tea spritz as my liquid, WGO as my oil, and my homemade pomade as the cream. My hairline is fuller, my hair is nicely moisturized. Overall I'm very pleased.
I used the last of my beeswax cream yesterday, so I made more. This time I made it with Beeswax, EVOO, Castor oil, Sulfur, and Cayenne Pepper. It's soooo creamy, I love it! I've already applied some and my scalp is tingling

@Goodgirlgonebad Does beeswax inhibit moisture from getting into the hair shaft?

| I've actually noticed an increase in my hair's moisture level since using it. The ratio of beeswax to oils is 1:3, so there's just enough beeswax to thicken the cream without actually preventing moisture from penetrating my hair shaft.

@goodgirl that homemade pomade looks good. I'll have to get the patience to attempt to make it. I love things that make my scalp tingle, it makes me feel like it's working.

I washed my hair yesterday with miracle 7 keratin shampoo & I used this protein packet called Henna & Placenta (sounds weird lol). I left it in only for a hour (I have to go somewhere today so I didn't let it stay in all night like I usually do) but once I washed it out & let my hair dry it was soo soft & manageable
