My daughters is 15months, her hair is really curly, well like little small curls. When I go to style her hair, I use a lot of water and either africas herbal oils or shea butter vaseline. And it looks gorgeous... but,

After a few hours her hair is a mess.. it frizzes, and her hair looks like I didn't put any moisturizer in it.. at all. I have to redo her hair every couple of hours because her hair styles don't stay and I'm not going to use any gel to slick her hair down, I'm not sure what type of hair she has.

All i know is I'm a new mother and I've only dealt with my hair which is 4c, and sometimes I get frustrated because I don't know how to do my daughters hair so it will stay, or what products to use.

And also I forget to add.. omgosh its so annyoin, my daughters hair is like a lint roller, she will go to sleep and wake up and there will be so much trash in her hair, I spend more days taking trash out of her hair, then actually styling it. I tried wrapping it, but she pulls it offOuch

it'll be easier to help if you post a pic of her hair....but i jave 3 girls 9, 3, and 23 months all have completely different types of hair...this is what i can say my baby girl has the tighest curl pattern hair looks very dry and collects lint and dirt like crazy but her hair is the easiest to deal with...i use mostly homemade stuff on her hair....spritz with aloe vera juice evoo coconut oil mix seal with a shea mix or a mix of shea moisture smoothie and hair milk i only either co wash or use an all natural shampoo on her hair.....using the regimen i told you abt it cuts down on the dryness, the lint and dirt and makes it really shiny and soft

Her hair looks similar to my daughters. I would only do cowashes on her hair to prevent it from drying out and wash her hair with shampoo only once a month. I have used Dark n Lovely au naturale on my daughter's hair. Twistouts and updos last longer with their type of hair and the cream help define the curl and makes the hair tangle less. Hope this helps Also I spray her hair with a glycerin and water mix to keep it moisturized and not greasy.
