Hey guys, soo in may i took my braids out and i didnt notice a bald spot. Washed my hair and everything then went to my aunts to get my hair braided as always. She noticed there was a bald spot. I ignored and let her braid my hair. Now its august i unbraided my hair and the bald spot grew! And i have to move back in for school in two weeks. I dont know what to do. I thought about leaving the hair around the spot out and braid everything else since where the spot it i can cover it but i dont know.

Any suggestions? Please im out of ideas

You should find another protective style. Braids tore up my edges

Are you moisturizing and oiling your hair while in braids?

Buy some Jamaican Castor oil(SOLD ON AMAZON)...and mositurize the spot every other day. Try doing a protective style (full head weave) give the spot a break. But no matter what keep the area moisturized.HTH

I take it back, only the micro braids tore up my edges.
If you decide to keep getting your hair braided, make sure the stylist doesn't use too much hair on each braid. I hope that makes sense.

j/k get a wig and massage your scalp five minutes a day. Research some good oils to put on your scalp's balding spots.
