Someone told me to set her up by saying i will get a lawyer , sue etc. she'll take it back to the supervisor, and in turn run to the managwr with what i said. When i am confronted deny everything to get her in trouble cause shes running her effin' mouth.

Cease all verbal communication regarding the matter. Text the ^^ information to her, beginning from the time that he kissed you. Retain an Attorney, preferably one who specialize in Employment Law.

THIS. This is exactly what I did. Also, if I were you I would be at the EEOC in the morning reporting it. This is to protect your job. While there is an EEOC charge against a company you can't be fired, demoted, etc... or else it is like automatic grounds for suit. I would report it to the EEOC and alll incidents of retaliation ASAP to protect you.

I agree with the employment attorney, but DO NOT neglect the EEOC step to protect your job.
HR is in favor of the sexual harasser, remember that. Please go to the EEOC. Take it from someone that has been in a situation of management sexually harassing her. They CAN make your life hell, EEOC/pen recorder to back up the statements you take to the EEOC from here on out is a crucial step.
Make sure you write down exactly what was said to you or what happened, date, time, and who all witnessed it if any. Keep a daily log now.
I was in a situation where it got to the point where I was logging more than I was working, but it was necessary. The company couldn't fire me, although they tried to cite performance issues afterward I had years of excellent performance reviews and no problems until I reported to the EEOC. I just spoke with my EEOC investigator (its been years, but it protected my job at the time). Anyway, he said he's finally ready to rule and its going to be in my favor I'm just waiting for it to be official. So I will *hopefully* be getting some compensation for this at some point.
Also, once you go to the EEOC they will start trying to do things to accommodate you like work from home if its an option or an alternate location. But if you don't go to the EEOC or retain a lawyer, which the lawyer will refer you to the EEOC or file the report there for you anyway.... if you don't do that step the company won't really try to accommodate you. More than likely they'll try to get rid of you.

Great advice in this thread. Don't let that pervert get away with what he did. He kissed you? The nerve I would be very upset if this happened to me.

You need to contact a lawyer. This is all illegal. Most companies have zero tolerance towards harassment and retaliation. And that bish is NOT a friend. Best of luck OP and I'm sorry this is happening. |
This. You were harassed and this person will do it again if you don't put your foot down. Don't let them get away with it.
