long story short...
boss sexually harrassed me
told a friend
i was going to manager of his conduct
friend told me not too
she went and tipped this person off what i was planning to do.
went to director to complain of her actions and this director just swept it under the rug
I am seriously distraught over this mess. s
need advice

You need to contact a lawyer. This is all illegal. Most companies have zero tolerance towards harassment and retaliation. And that bish is NOT a friend. Best of luck OP and I'm sorry this is happening.

any way that you can get some tangible proof that the co-worker friend knew what you were planning and tipped them off?  text msgs or emails?

Do you have an HR dept? Can you file an anonymous complaint?

In the mean time, like they said, I would contact a lawyer and see what course of action they suggest.
