I'm agreeing with the glycerin, water and conditioner mix.  I use it twice a day.
I can use conditioner in my hair sprays??? wouldnt I have to wash it out? does it make your hair hard???

^^ nope, not if youre adding water and glycerin. That's how i make my home made leave in. (although IMO you have to pick and choose your conditioners carefully)

my preference is for a creamy consistency so I use (ie quite a lot of conditioner in comparision to a homemade spritz) so I use Aubrey Organics Honey suckle rose moisturising conditioner as a base. Its got no scary ingredients so I dont mind it sitting on my head all day every day.

I just use a cheapie conditioner like white rain.  It doesn't make my hair hard or anything, just don't use too much.

This is the shea moisture (click for a larger image).  They make lots of products.  This is really good, especially on damp hair:

Thanks Who!! I've seen that in the store.  Sounds like a lot of ladies like it.  I'll put it on my list of things to try out (after I use up all the other stuff i've triedLOL)

The Glycrine is glorious for moisture because it draws moistuire form the air and pulls into your hair.  So, If you're in a really humid environment, a glycerine mix will work well to keep your hair moist.  I learned a tip from MsToya about applying the glycerin mix before you take a shower.  That allows the steam from the shower gets the hair nice and moist.

The hard part is finding the right ratio for water, condish and glycrine.  I'm still trying to figure that part out.

I'm going to try that Shea Moisture as well.

I've been using matrix sleek extreme leave-in creme.  Today I used my Ulta points and coupon to get a mini sample of Frederic Fekkai shea butter hair mask.  I just used it and it smells good and my hair feels soft, but if I can get the same thing for cheaper, then so be it.
