 hello ladies !
i finally registered for an account for this forum ! however i am in the process of transitioning from relaxed/telaxed to all natural. i have not had a big chop but within the next few months i plan to have one just to start over. i have been transitioning for the past few months and i have not had a relaxer/telax in over a year. transitioning has been really hard for me. i lack patience and get really frusturated when i do not see improvement (growth) in my hair. i am getting better and gaining patience.
for a long time i wore my hear in a sock bun as a protective style. i made the mistake of not giving my hair a break from the bun and pulling it up too tight around my edges. consequently i now have breakge in my crown and around my edges.
i discovered a new protective style that i really enjoy which is sew-ins. i get my sew-ins proffesionaly done by a reputable stylist. i always keep at least and inch of my edges out and put minimal to no heat on my leave. i mainly resort to flexi rods a in order to achieve my desired hairstyle when wearong straight or loosewave hair. although i love my sew in because it protects my ends and hair in general, when i take my hair out i do not see as much growth as i desire and think i should have.
i have been trying to grow my hair out for some years now but only have been experiecing no growth due to breakage. oh and for the past month i have been taking hairfinity. so far i think it is going good because it has made me increase my water intake and i have incorporated more vegetables into my diet.
basically to sum it all up i am frustrated and i am ready to cut all of my hair off due to the lack of progress. i do not want to cut off my hair so can you all PLEASE help me start a regime once i take my sew in out in july! i appreciate it so much
