@Sweet

Yes GHE'ing was a life changer for me. I think that's when I really started getting length retention. Prior to that, my ends were so dry, you could start a fire. Ouch

Wait....I'm barely a 3 and my curls are larger than hers LOL...

She is a 4 , her is hair is just long and properly nourished, and on top of that she keeps it stretched...

and 3s dont typically have silky hair either

 look through this thread to understand it

  I'm starting to think alot of people in the kinkier 4s assume everyone with a pattern a little looser , smoother or more apparent than theirs is a 3...Its one of those things you have to see in person to be like "ooohhh I see"

Yeah your hair is silky too. Even if the hair is really tight or puffy, if it is silky and shiny when brushed straight, that's what makes it "good hair" to me. That's where I draw the dividing line.

I would agree with that Nicka...

When I switched to a (mostly) all natural reggie, I finally started to see my true hair (curl pattern, sheen, softness, etc).

Lol, I'm currently on a hairfinity + liquid gold reggie in terms of growth aids. I'm getting about an inch a month which is definitely making me happy. I used to use Megatek, but honestly I wasn't consistent with it so...who knows how well it would have worked for me back in the day.

There are days I can literally wash n my hair and go

I couldn't do that when I was using a whole bunch of products, my hair was dependent on them...

Yes she def is...I got interested in exploring a more natural hair reggie after watching her and seeing how healthy her hair looked.

But I STILL can't do a WNG. I have SERIOUS shrinkage. I'm between APL and BSL, but when I wash my hair, it shrinks up to looking barely 3 - 5 inches long. An afro halo lol.
