Keep it simple! I agree with the nightly nail and cuticle massages. Avoid acyrilics or nail extensions since they weaken and damage your natural nails. Never peel off or chip away your nail polish, it roughens the nail surface and could cause splits.

My Supervisor told me to a piece of garlic and rub it on my nail to make them grow.

In addition to that I've also read about cutting up a piece of garlic and putting it in a clear nail polish and it will function as a nail hardener and growth aid.
