Alisha I like what you did to it!!!  I agree the color was too blah before but you worked your skillzThumbs%20Up

In addition to coloring the lace to hide the grids, AM (and someone else, can't remember) shared a tip that I started using and it works for me.  I use a dark brown eyeshadow by Loreal from there HIP collection and I brush it on one side of some tape, I adhere that side to the lace (it loses some of it's stickness but I use the 3M77 adhesive spray to seal my knots and it also helps with getting the tape to stick.  I usually do 3 wide strips going vertically, so I have a lot of space to play with for parting.  After I remove the back from the otherside of the tape I place a piece of brown stocking to it.

Once I apply the unit I use the flat end of my comb to press the lace into the tape and my grids disappears!

thanks beany!!!!!! Clap

that sounds like just the trick that will work!!!

I have PLENTY of makeup at home so I will look for a shadow that is near or a TAD darker than my skintone, i say darker because the lace is SO LIGHT!

This looks really pretty on you. I look forward to seeing it after your color job. Good luck with that.
Re: the shine from liquid bandage
Yes it will definately look better after you color your lace.
I use that method sometimes also and I had a lady ask me once
"How do you keep your scalp so healthy?"
I just said "Love and Attention" Lmao I spend alot of time on this wig between the maintenance and app. time. So it's true love and attention. I guess it looks like a greased scalp to ppl.]
