You are so right about relying on protein shakes.. I try to tell gurls the same thing..you need carbs and other things...like food, lol.
I came a long way with my weight gain journey, I've put on 35 pounds...and can you believe I still want to gain 20 more lol.
I was skinny, so skinny people thought I was sick, I would go to the doctor, they told me I was a healthy weight I know I wasn't....
right now I'm medium, but I'm trying to get thicker..
I drink whey protein at first I didn't like it, now I just drink it cuz I'm use to the taste. I tried creatine?..Not sure if thats the name...anyways that was years ago it was digusting, but I bought vanilla, I never get vanilla brand anymore, I think its gross..
I drink 1 protein shake daily (500 calories)and the rest I rely on is food. I cut down sweets alot if I eat them its not much baby like two cookies
But I am truly blessed, I put all that weight on and 1 inch went to my stomach...so hopefully this time I will only gain another inch or two, then im gonna work on gettin my belly down.
