How did it turn out? Just curious.

If you haven't...I totally agree w bouthatlife!!!! It is ez but wait til you are comfy and sure of your skills. I actually did a cpl of test runs using conditioner. I used a brush & my hands till I was able to see how good/bad I was and what I needed to perfect. So when I TL'd it was a breeze for a 1st timer...

You have probably conquered the technique by now! Good luck! Post pics!

You stylist is WRONG! Texlaxing is not using a texturizer with previously relaxed hair. Texlaxing is using a relaxer, but not keeping it on as long as the box recommends, you keep the relaxer on for 1/2 the time and you ONLY put relaxer on the new growth. You never put relaxer on hair that's already been relaxed.

My hair is longer than ever since I started Texlaxing my hair about 15 years ago.
