These are old pictures I found on my camera, It's a silk base closure from kevin in IY.
It's either sewn down with a upart wig I made or it's sewn into the upart wig and then the wig is sewn into my head. I do both and cant remember which one this is.
my edges are NOT pressed out in any of these pictures lol
I ordered the closure with the flesh color lace or whatever the lightest color is and then I buy fabric that is the same color and texture, cut up small pieces and dye them until I find the perfect match before I dye my closure.
When I am testing the fabric I dye a section then I dry it with my blow dryer or heater because it dries lighter for some reason so I always dry it first before I match it. Then I go in my bathroom mirror and match it to my forehead or a 1/2 lighter then my forehead etc
I use rit dye in tan, coco brown and dark brown. I just use tan and then a little of the two browns. I just keep mixing and matching looking for a nice brown that doesn't have a lot of red tint to it.
In the last picture I brushed on just a little makeup to my natural part only to match everything up better.
Sorry I don't have any pictures of my hair done with the edges pressed and blended, I'll take some next time around.
