OMG I really needed this thread! You are such an inspiration - I am going to buy something to train my waist as soon as I get paid so I can get better results there too. I've started working out 6 days a week already and have seen such a change (also trying to eat clean too). Thanks so much for posting!

This may seem like a weird question... but where do corsets fit in as far as intimacy goes? I feel like that's a lot of rearranging. And you do sleep in yours right? |
I've been enjoying the single life for awhile . By choice, not by circumstance.. Its fun . I'm sure you can always whip it off and throw it back on, LOL. Yes, I do sleep in my corset. It doesn't bother me at all or interrupt my sleep. It took some time getting use to it at first, but once I broke it in, it was all good!

I eat a clean diet lol I just have a crazy high metabolism. I think I just need more core training, my worst enemy lol. Yea a compression garment I used to have a vedette it worked but idk why I stopped using it. I think I'm just gonna try the corset now. |
Yup, invest in a GOOD corset. I need to do some research on where to buy my next one. It will NOT be off of ebay though . Shape wear is cool, but a corset is even better.

I said this in my original post, but ladies, stay consistent!! I am extremely anal when it comes to my training. The only times I missed a workout was due to me twisting my ankle doing step aerobics . Outside of that I've never missed one day (I workout 5-6 days a week). I know we get busy in life, but it's important that you always carve out time for YOU! I work full time and have a 6 year old and I'm a single parent, but I still made/make the time for ME to get my workout's in. I do my cardio in the morning before work, and I hit the gym to lift at night. I live by the rule of NO EXCUSES!! If you want it bad enough, you will make a way. There have been days where I've been tired and didn't want to get up early in the morning or go to the gym after work, but I sucked it up and went. Don't fall for the fad's and the quick fixes to lose weight. Damn a pill that will make you not hungry so you lose weight or injecting yourself with hormones eating 200 cals a day , LOL. I LIKES to eat, and I am able to enjoy food (clean) and still transorm my body. I hope this helps some in their journey to weight loss/transforming their body. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it!!
|
Well said; I often don't feel like hitting the gym but I do because I have to but what you wrote about living by the rule of no excuses hit me hard....Thank you!!!
|
You're very welcome!! I'm am very to the point when it comes to this stuff. People are always searching for quick fixes when it comes to changing their bodies. It does take work! I hear from so many women how they want to change their bodies, but come up with every excuse in the book as to why they can't put the work in. And then wonder why they aren't getting the result that they want, SMH!!

I've heard of the name researching waist training. I can't recall seeing anyting negative about them. I would just seek out some reviews on them and give it a shot if you're comfortable with what you come across.

Wow, Wow, Wow....I'm speechless and so motivated by your progress. We have similar body types.
Just last night I was ready to throw in the towel due to frustration and lack of motivation . My daughter would like to join a gym but I told her it wasn't necessary. Your pics are making me eat those words. I'm going to join with her.
Do you have any YT videos? I would love to follow your workouts.
Thanks, for sharing your progress with us |
Thank you!! No, I don't have any YT videos. I have posted ( I need to find the thread) of the workout I started out with last year. I periodically change my lifting routines. I will try and find it and post the link.

Thank you!! That's good to hear. Also, take pictures of your self at least once a month. It's nice to look back and see the change take place over time.
