My Kinky Straight Install

   Hi ladies,
I have been lurking on this forum for about 1year, but I don't really post but I learned everything I know now on here. I had my hair installed a few days ago and just wanted to share a few pics with you guys  Please excuse myself for any spelling/ grammar mistakes that I could write, I'm from France 

I purchased this hair from a CV and it took approximately 10 days for me to get it. I ordered two bundles of Kinky Straight (Malaysian) One was 16'' and the other one 18''. I installed only 100 gr/4 oz and I truly believe that I would have looked like a fool if we had installed two packs

For the braid pattern, I have a looooot of leave-out. The entire perimeter and horsehoe because I want to be able to put the hair in a ponytail and a do a middle part.

I am natural, probably a 4B or 4C, but I'm not quite sure. Hair types confuse me  All I'm sure is that it's a type 4.
I did flat iron my hair once but what I do now is I tie the hair, and put a scarf to make it lay flat. If you have any suggestion I'll gladly accept them.

I will update this thread to let you know how the hair behaves. So far I'm satisfied because I only ordered it to wear it in its natural state so I don't do anything sophisticated with it. However, I will try to curl it to see if it can hold a curl. And I'll also try some styles, braid-outs, twist-outs etc.
Now, I have a few questions. Since I have a lot of leave-out, how should I care for it? I know I shouldn't flat iron my hair too often as well, how frequently should I do it?This is my first time having a sew-in in two years and since I'm natural. The hair is soft and all but how should I care for it (I heard KS was high maintenance)
