My install for Kinky Curly Lovers

(Sorry for any of my english mistakes, I'm French)

I started to use
weaves as protective styles and was looking for a nice and natural texture for
my hair. After lurking on this site for a while and YouTube, I decided to go
with Kinky Curly hair. I ordered from two different vendors (both chinese) and
well one turned out great, the other one not so much.

About a year ago, I did an Kinky Straight install that I posted a review on
here (you can see in my messages, pic in my avi) so I told myself I would stick with this same
vendor given the good experience I had with them. So I ordered two bundles (18”
Kinky Curly and Afro Kinky Curl) Kinky Curly turned out to be looser than I expected
but since it was my first time ordering this texture, I wasn't so sure about
how it was supposed to look.

In the same time,
I also ordered two bundles of Kinky Curly (14”&16”) from an AE vendor. The
hair was on discount (I'm a student, can't afford TOO expensive hair) so I
decided to give it a try. When it came, it actually looked like KS was supposed
to look in my mind. Tight ringlets if that makes sense.

I finally got the
hair installed. The 18” from the first vendor, the 16” from AE and a little bit
of the 14”

That’s how the install originally looked like. In the first pic, the hair is wet. The curls pattern was obviously different...

After a few days, I noticed some differences between the two hair. The 18" (from the first vendor) was tangling and matting at the ends. Couldn't go through it with my ends without my fingers getting struck in that mess. Look at those awful ends...

The 16" and 14" from the second vendor were awesome though. Nice, soft, just had to wet it and put a little bit of product on it to look and feel nice. So after a week of wearing the hair I decided to take down the 18" in order to replace it with the rest of the 14" that I got from AE. So now the install looks drastically different. More volume, blending is inevitably easier (I am natura) and those CURLY ends are just purty.
So here some pics of the way I have been wearing the hair afterwards. The install is 6 weeks, i want to keep it for 12.

Blending is not perfect, but it's good enough in my opinion. I use flat twist on my leave out. My whole perimeter is out and some hair for a side part.
