nichole makes an excellent point

taniel...i just had to come to that expectation as well...i'm in my second 6 month stretch and my hair behaves completely and totally different than it ever has before but it's HEALTHier for it...i just thought about it, i don't need to relax bone st8, that's what my fhi is for lol

I agree with Nichole too. I relax my hair every 12 or 13 weeks and it still has alot of texture to it...and I get shrinkage to boot Plus, I don't think the ORS relaxer is strong enough to completely straighten my hair.

nichole23 that makes sense. This happened to me when a few years back and i couldnt explain why i it did. now i do!

I am so gald I read this thread. I have the same "problem" that Taniel has. I have been stretching relaxers (every 4 to 5 months) since Feb 2008.
 
My stylist suggested that I comb the relaxer through to my ends next time, because she considers my hair to be severely underprocessed and is convinced I am going to suffer breakage in the long run. I was actually seriously considering her advice, but now I know better.
