Maybe some or one of these will work for you. If not, then they do not work for you, but I hope for your best results.
hese may be helpful to some of the ladies on this board. Part of a series of homemade recipes:If you substitute any of the ingredients, DO NOT EXPECT SAME RESULTS: For example: pure sugar cane (in a box) IS NOT exchangeable with "demerara, brown sugar, or molasses, or honey etc. etc." Regular cooking molasses IS NOT exchangeable with pure blackstrap molasses.
COPYRIGHTED: ©PEKO PACK RADICAL RECOVERY HAIR TREATMENTS 1999-2002 MAHALIALEE: These particular ones are not necessarily for extremely damaged hair but for hair on recovery and maintenance: I use more radical treatments for really damaged hair.

2 tsp.. Freshly squeezed lime juice **(FRESHLY SQUEEZED LIME (not bottled)
2 tbl pure cane sugar
1 tbl. pure black strap molasses
hot water, stir: let cool. Add 1 tbl. Vitamin C Crystals.
Separate hair into parted sections and spray each section: let sit for 1/2 hour. Rinse in warm water. Oil hair very lightly. Wrap. For restoring acid mantle to scalp; sugar bond to hair, elasticity to hair. Do this following a protein treatment, hot oil treatment. Good for tightening hair cuticles: Part of 3 week intensive
care. Use 1X weekly.

(c)copyrighted: 1999-2002
1/2 CUP PURE ALOES JUICE. I use the one from Abundance Marketing at GNC
1 TSP. Vitamin C. Crystals (I use Nature's Gate)
1 tsp. Amla POWDER (not Amla Oil )that has been mixed in hot water (1/2 cup VERY WARM (NOT hot water)
1 tsp. MSM powder stir well
1 tsp. Biotin Powder stir well
1 tsp. Crushed Pantothentic acid caplet (put in plastic baggies and roll over with rolling pin)OR LIQUID PANTHENOL
1/2 tsp. Liquid Lecithin
Shale well and add more aloe juice if necessary. Store in a spray bottle Shake well before using: Saturate scalp and hair shaft before a wrap. Keeps hair shaft strong. (Amla is great for hair roots). Lightly spray hair with oil after the hair is in wrap and before you put on your silk scarf.

(hair may darken)
#1: Mahalialee's Sugar Pie
1/4 cup pure cane sugar (pure sugar cane-from Health Store) DO NOT SUBSTITUTE
Add: 1/4 cup black strap molasses
3 tbls. Lime juice
1/2 cup Organic Mayonnaise (health food store)Do not substitute:
warm in micro wave (DO NOT GET HOT, due to eggs in the mayonnaise)Better to warm in pan of hot watee::
Apply to damp hair, cover in plastic. 1 hour. For Extremely Damaged Hair.
(c)copyrighted 1999-2002:
Mahalialee's HIBISCUS HAIR GELEE For Dark hair.(You can buy the Hibiscus Flowers at the Indian Grocery in the packaged herb section
FOR A FIRMER HOLD FOR TWISTS: Grate the peel of a grapefruit very fine: (dust like) Store in a jar.
Bring 6 tb. Flax seed and water to boil. Let stand about 15-20 minutes. Remove the seeds.Add a quarter tsp. of the grapefruit seed dust. (In the meantime, while the flaxseed water is standing), Boil 2 cups of water. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup of Hibiscus flowers. Let this seep for about one hour. Drain off the juice into the flax seed juice. Strain through a couple of pantyhose cut offs, and allow to gel. If you like a thicker gel leave it uncovered until completely COLD: Pour into a clean container.
Apply to each hair section as you twist each section: This is a LEAVE IN: Only apply once per each time you do the twist set.

Works well for me: Let me know how it works for you. Everyone's hair is different: Contents concentrate or strength can be adjusted for your hair type and will be glad to help with that.
