I BC'd last night. While I was cutting my hair, my daughter said "Mommy cut my hair too." LOL
But right after I cut, I felt a small amount of fear. Here were my thougts:
-What now?
-Will my products works?
-What will my friends, co-workers, family think? My guy friend whom I'm still getting to know?
-How will I manage my short hair?

FYI... I BC'd in 2009, but I transitioned for a while. It wasn't this short, and I kept wearing sew-ins.
Here's my pic. I hope it posts.

Thanks to you both, India and Texasmami. Today I went to church. I got a few stares, but for the most part, I feel ok about my short hair.

Texasmami-how do you feel today about your hair?

I feel like it's thirsty lol. Hopefully I'll find my staple products soon because it's kind of rough.

I won't have my big reveal until this weekend. Gotta figure out how to style it before then.

The same thoughts ran through my head as well. Kudos to being brave enough to BC yourself. Very cute pics. I actually experience some pitfalls in the beginning like, Lo-Po hair, and scab hair. Fortunately I stay strong and got through it. Check my video to hear about my experience with scab hair.

Lovely pic of you and your little girl, awww.

You'll be fine, all your questions will get an answer and in time your doubts will be put to rest.

Good luck on your new journey!

Thanks you guys! I haven't been back to this scetion since I BC'd b/c I didn't want to keep reading about different hair products are drive myself nuts. I have been co-washing on a daily basis and sleeping with a satin bonnet on at night. Right now, I am using Loreal no-sulfate products-shampoo, conditioner and leave in (in a gold bottle). Also, Ecostyler gel. So far, so good. I am worried about what styles  I will do in the winter b/c I don't want to leave the house with a freshly washed head. But overall, things are great!
