I understand what you meant. I understand folks initial alarm.
Some might say it was better left unsaid...nevertheless.
I am soooooooo sorry to hear about your doggie.
I had to put down one of my beloved pets of 8 years.
It's uber difficult. But it get's easier.
He will no longer be in pain.
And my mother reminded me that I did my job and did it well.
Didn't you take excellent care of him? You provided him with a lifetime of love and care. He was a very very fortunate doggie.
Don't fret over what could have been. Cherish the moments you shared.
Cherish the memories and lessons your bookie butt gave you.
His absence doesn't make his story in your life less real. He was here
And you did one hell of a good job. Look at that smile!
He won't be in sight. But he will always have that special home in your heart.
