if a building 's 65% section 8 it's probably sh*tty and obvious so the rent is probably cheap any way, which means your price range should increase...how much is the rent?  Add 300 and look elsewhere.

If I have to even ask that question...I wouldn't live there.

But I'm bougie about housing. I like quiet, good looking surroundings, and I don't want to hear or deal with bebe's kids.

maybe you can get someone else to ask if the building accepts it.  or maybe you can pretend like you are someone else.  i mean that way if the answer is no they won't think you yourself are on section 8.

you can look at a neighborhood and tell if it's not up scale. you can look at the people, how well out is kept up and google the crime rate

But even new luxury buildings have to offer some low cost units in order to get the subsidies they depend on to build (in major cities)

If you really want to keep away from those beneath you, you might have to buy a house in an upscale neighborhood

Until then you just may encounter the poor

I need to find out how I can get in where I fit in with the Luxury apts. They have some freshly built in Boston that I would give my eyeteeth to live there.
