Section 8 does not equal no job.

But I do see the issue with living in say, straight up public housing.

section 8 apts might as well be public housing if you get too many of them. sh*t they'll turn that sh*t into the hood and next thing you know they featured your neighborhood on first 48

I wanted to say that you can tell...but I moved into a nice, safe, non section 8 community and my neighbor was shot in the face and there was a drug raid all within 2 mths of moving in.  Separate incidents.  I stuck it out, must've been a fluke bc nothing else has happened.

My friend in real estate says he still pays attn to the cars parked on the street and parking lot to help determine value.

just ask, I am sure they will tell you and also you can see it on the apt website. I know in the housing downfall so many homeowners were putting their shyt up for section 8 for guaranteed rental income
