No white woman envy was ever me mentioned in my post.
I said a lot of black women don't like their hair .
And I stand by that.
Refute if you like |
To be fair, no you didn't say "black women want white hair". But when you make the statement "bw don't like their hair"...who's hair would we want by contrast? Especially if we're living in a eurocentric society?

what am i refuting about ppl not liking their hair?
i never disagreed with that.
you adamantly agreed with most weaves being used to conform to white standards of beauty. thats basically the only thing i refuted.
ok, ill be naive. i dont have time or the energy to go back and forth with that

Naw I got past the first couple words and stopped. I'm a hair board women and I know what protective style means but I'm not gonna deny when I see countless examples and I know the history of blacks in America.
A lot of black women do not like their hair and ill keep saying it.
I said longer and looser ModelB in my convo with Olunndi And I also said that length is a big part of that

many black women (and others.. but more blacks) dont like their hair. we have agreed on that.
does it make you feel good to keep chanting that? i dont understand...

Ok
on the 1-4 hair type scale. Who traditionally has the type 1 & 2
hair textures that = silky straight/body wave weave textures? Yes I
know, there are plenty of AA's with naturally silky/soft curly hair, but
they're exceptions and not the norms. I don't disagree that
many have self hate issues, and no not everyone is PSing. But what can
clearly be inferred by what your saying is: if you don't like your own
hair texture, and I mean TRULY HATE your hair texture (not you but AA
women in general), then by default you desire white/latina/asian hair
textures and perceive them as "better" than your hair type.

Y'all be giving scenarios like : versatility, protective style and all that. When I asked for why that's the reasons y'all gave. And omitted other reasons.
I'm giving one of the reasons I think black women love straighter long weave. Never said 100% but I will say a lot

i truly believe it does. and i know youre gonna say you dont care, you dont have to care. but youre called a natural nazi for a reason...
you are extra about natural hair and i think rocking it most of the time truly makes you feel better about yourself because of other insecurities you may have.
