If anything it will add thickness to you traps but not height

Going to get in a workout tonight. ATG squats vs regular, will you see much more improvement with one vs another?

ATG squats provide a greater stretch wth a prolonged contraction time

ATG give better results BUT be weary of your lower back and knees ATG are not for everyone

if its a new movement gradually introduce yourself to it mastering balance posture and movement and steadily increase weight

so train smart

So I decided to try starting strength since I've heard good reviews for beginners. And then move on to something else a little later.
