ClapClapClap Everything you said is so true Tatee!

I've been doing running intervals on the treadmill. First week I'd power walk for 1.30mins then run for 30secs then back to power walking. I'd do that 5 times and it wasn't easy coz I wasn't a runner.
Well now I'm on week four and I'm now power walking 1.30mins then running for 2mins and then back to power walking. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but I'm overweight and have never been a runner all my life so seeing my progress just makes me so happy CrySmile. I was tired and my heart rate was so high but I told myself I wasn't going to stop until the whole circuit was done and I did it! I'm so proud of myself Big smile
I can only imagine how good I'll be when I get to week 12. I'm gonna be a runner! Big smile

So I've been weighing myself every Wednesday to see how much I lose every week and the last two weigh-ins I did left me feeling

2 weigh-ins ago I'd GAINED 300grams
1 weigh-in ago I lost the 300grams and got back to my original starting weight.

Then over the last week I started to push myself really hard and closely look at everything I was eating. So this morning was my weigh-in and I was so scared but I had been noticing that some of my clothes were now fitting a little looser.

I crossed my fingers and got on the scale and..
I LOST 3KGs!!!! ShockedShockedShocked
For my American friends that is 6.6 pounds! In 1 week.

I got off the scale and back on a few times to make sure...and I was like

and then I was like

I'm so glad that I didn't let my previous weight gain get me down and keep me from pushing harder.
So I hope this motivates you guys a bit.
Remember to say this to yourself today:

That is all Embarrassed

Does it end with 250? Last for 30 days. Might be the same one

Take the rest you need. Maybe a light walk

No.. I'm not doing a protein shake. I don't think I work out enough for protein shakes.. Arent they for like weightlifters and intense gym goers? I just started like a week and a half ago... Is it a lot of calories? Does it work if you don't use heavy weights?

Southern-yup!! Lol I didn't do it yesterday though lol I was sore! I'm so weak it's not even funny haha

I think I should make a post on protein shake use for beginners

You need the protein to prevent catabolism ie loss of lean body mass aka muscle

You don't want to lose muscle you want to lose fat and since its muscle that keeps you working and going you need to feed it so it stays at peak performance

Furthermore, a fully replenished muscle mass has a higher basal metabolic rate than one in catabolic state, meaning it keeps your metabolism high at rest.

So yes, you better drink that protein girl!
