I have started walking to and from work each day.  It is about 1.5 miles each way; it's much better than dealing with crazy DC rush hour traffic.Thumbs Up

Tonight I am going to do Turbo Fire. The Fire 45 so I can get a few HITTs in with the exercise.  Wish me luck.Stern Smile

The cola mom is just sad. She was just unhealthy in general. She drank gallons of it everyday and also smoke 30 cigarettes  everyday. It makes headlines to say Coke did her in. All of her teeth were taken out. One kid (of her 8) was supposedly born  with NO TEETH ENAMEL!Angry She pickled that baby in coke!

I'm glad that its not a bad thing to have a break day. Considering how seasoned most of you in this thread are in regards to working out, I thought you all worked out 7 days a week.

I made it through my workout today.. I was sore when I went, but it went away as I worked out.. Now my muscles are sore in different places now that I'm done. I think I am forming a solid habit of getting up and hiting the gym.

I have decided that I'm going to take kickboxing classes.. I hope to start in March.

its not good to workout 7 days a week..

you end up in a catabolic state and you lose lean body mass instead of fat. also, you will be prone to a rebound weight gain effect resulting in a greater fat:muscle ratio

thats why we are pro weight lifting (not in the traditional BB sense) to stimulate metabolism and channel nutrients to working muscles and increase bone density

after yesterdays, i was taking measured steps todays , im enjoying doing absolutely nada

1 min jump rope
50 mountain climbers
1 min jump rope
50 bicycle crunches
1 min jump rope
25 prisoner squats
1 min jump rope
15 push ups
1 min jump rope
1 min plank hold
1 min jump rope
40 regular crunches
1 min jump rope
30 alternating reverse lunges
1 min jump rope
15 squat thrusts
1 min jump rope
side plank (30 sec/side)
1 min jump rope
30 reverse crunches

*Rest 2 minutes, then repeat circuit
