Question: Do you all work out every single day or do you all do rest days?

 


i always have one day in the week where im not lifting or doing cardio, usually saturdays

at the moment i have two days off in the week. wed and saturday. my training split will depend on how i feel

I have two rest days but even those are not really restful since I am on my feet cooking, cleaning and doing other stuff. LOL

the coffee without sugar or milk is starting to taste better

i actualy had two cups this am



and have had no desire for the sweet stuff

in the metro there was story of a new zealander who drank four (yes 4) 2.5l bottles of coke per day

that put me straight off

That mother that had the cola heart attack? Because I was like what the hell and I was just thinking about much I missed it but that evaporated after reading that story.

I have started walking to and from work each day.  It is about 1.5 miles each way; it's much better than dealing with crazy DC rush hour traffic.Thumbs Up

Tonight I am going to do Turbo Fire. The Fire 45 so I can get a few HITTs in with the exercise.  Wish me luck.Stern Smile

The cola mom is just sad. She was just unhealthy in general. She drank gallons of it everyday and also smoke 30 cigarettes  everyday. It makes headlines to say Coke did her in. All of her teeth were taken out. One kid (of her 8) was supposedly born  with NO TEETH ENAMEL!Angry She pickled that baby in coke!

I'm glad that its not a bad thing to have a break day. Considering how seasoned most of you in this thread are in regards to working out, I thought you all worked out 7 days a week.

I made it through my workout today.. I was sore when I went, but it went away as I worked out.. Now my muscles are sore in different places now that I'm done. I think I am forming a solid habit of getting up and hiting the gym.

I have decided that I'm going to take kickboxing classes.. I hope to start in March.

its not good to workout 7 days a week..

you end up in a catabolic state and you lose lean body mass instead of fat. also, you will be prone to a rebound weight gain effect resulting in a greater fat:muscle ratio

thats why we are pro weight lifting (not in the traditional BB sense) to stimulate metabolism and channel nutrients to working muscles and increase bone density

after yesterdays, i was taking measured steps todays , im enjoying doing absolutely nada
