Well, I have lurked both of these threads and I have decided that I will post.
 
I have lost 12 pounds for the month of January.
I have seem to have hit a plateau.. BC I have not lost anything this week yet. I weighed myself last week and was -12 pounds..
 
Scale said the same thing today... *le sigh*

It is normal to have a stall, it might last a week or two but then you start to lose again if you keep eating right and working out.

Does anyone else find milk in particular to be fattening? I always lose weight when I cut down on milk regardless of what else I'm eating, it is really strange.

I had a marathon workout throughout the day yesterday. Weighed myself this morning and I went down 1.5 pounds. So I will be back at it today. I have b een in the 150s too long and by next week I should be @148 at least! *fingers crossed*

For those that aren't seeing the scale move, don't give up! The scale hasn't moved for me in 2 weeks...and I am still losing inches. That is what matters. Smile

I find it bloats me because I'm lactose intolerant. But I think milk is fine in moderation. I notice my weight is better when drinking almond milk. I have yogurt and cottage cheese in moderation.

A lot of celebs cut diary and carbs to lose weight quickly.

When I cut it out completely I lost a lil over 10 pounds without changing anything else. Recently I went from having about 2 cups a day to 1.5 cup every other day (in my protein shake) and a definitely notice that I am leaner.
