I'd say everyday.

My hair really turned around when I started using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, deep conditioning once a week, using a leave in conditioner, and moisturizing and sealing every night.

I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on what I should use, I have really think (Nappy) roots even when I relax and it feels dry all the time Can some people give me any ideas?

I wonder if you problem here, besides the medication, could be related to low porosity? My understanding is that low porosity hair has closed cuticles that prevents hair from absorbing much of anything including chemical treatments, hence the nappy roots even after you get a relaxer. BHM has a very comprehensive article on the main page.

The moisturizing and sealing sounds like its best if you wear protective styles and not your hair hanging down, am I correct?

I think you are supposed to moisturize and seal depending on your hair needs. I wear my hair down mot of the time and I moisturize and seal every night, if not my ends get dry and I start getting split ends which I hate with a passion.
