Hello,
This might sound like a dumb questionConfused
How do you keep your hair moisturized while in braids.
I want to make sure I do this.

Thanks for your help.

You can use your regular products.   I use scalp conditioner and coconut oil .   If I use human hair I rub gloss on the ends of my hair throught the braids and use coconut oil or carols daughter hair balm to grease my scalp.  I have spray hair oil for super dry areas.  If I would ever go back to synthetic hair I would saturate my scalp and hair with product as the synthetic tends to leech any and all moisture out of my natural hair.

While your hair is in braids, you can use the products that you would use on a daily basis. You can also use Natural Shea Butter, Olive oil, or Coconut Oil. I use The shea butter often to keep my braids moisturized. Also, there are braid conditioners that you can find at your local beauty supply store. I hope this helps

liquid moisturizers or water and sealing with oil works best for me when im in braids or twists.  i noticed that creamy moisturizers acts like glue when my hair is in these styles.

I use a spray mix of water, aloe vera juice, and oil (castor, jojoba, and rosemary).  I spray that on the length of my natural hair everyday and use braid sheen spray, all over, every other day.
I also use an oil mix on my scalp every other day.

I use Scurl for moisture and a combination of jojoba, rosemary, and castor oil to seal. keep in mind what you use because you dont want residue building up and showing white.
