Tough spot to be in. On one hand I think it would be nice if she won because trans women struggle so much to be recognized as how they identify. But if she does win, I think people would sh*t all over it and attribute her win to the novelty of being trans.

true is not based on being a woman... but for the contest's history of 61 years.. 60 of those years you had to be someone born w/ a xx chromosome to be a contestant--so  for understandable reasons becomes something ppl associate w/ womanhood.

I dont care who enters the contest..
but I understand why ppl will be upset.

its my opinion that woman are way more accommodating than men...
and this is both our gift and curse.
