Wow. I guess I'm the only one here that loves Miss Jessie's.

I cannot live without the Baby Buttercream and the Curly Pudding.  I've tried bunches of other products (aloe gel, mango butter, etc) and makeshift mixes, but really nothing I've found really compares.

I'm a 4a/b and it works great on my hair.  I use the pudding on wet hair when I twist or braid it up at night and when I take it out in the morning I've got these great bouncy curls.  The Buttercream is great for smoothing the hairline.  I did try the Rapid Recovery and wasn't that impressed with it.  My coconut milk DC works just as well.

I was a little taken back by the price too, but really if I compare it to the  cost of the weaves/relaxers I was doing before I went natural, this is pocket change. LOL

The only bad thing about Miss Jessie's is you can't just slap the product on your head and get 3c curls. But if you follow the techniques (twistout, braidout, shingling) on the site with the products, you'll get nice results imho.

yea, they make great products but they come in too small a jar. Seriously that tiny thing for $22. I bet you there's a knock off for a similar product made in China!

WOW, I had no clue that there were mixed reviews. I thought it was just me and my hair not 'liking' it or something that I didnt do right . But I'mma try it again one of these days.

I've been using their products and I love them. I think it's all about how you use them and finding which product works best for you. I wasn't impressed with the rapid recovery, but I'm going to give it another chance and see what happens.

I dont like the buttercremes, they just sit on my hair. I liked the curly meringue though. The Curly Pudding is ok.

Im upset that they used a natural lady with loose curl texture for the Shingling demo on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g02R7n77kHQ&feature=channel_pageThey know its mostly 3c/4a/4b that have a lot of questions about how to use the Curly Pudding

Something about that model's hair in the YT tutorial doesn't sit right with me. I like the shape of her cut but her curls are too uniform...I suspect they ran some of that silkener through her strands.Thumbs%20Down

Shingling really isn't going go work for someone with a 4a/b texture. That technique is more for people in the 3s range like the lady in the video. People in the 4s usually success doing a braidout/twistout with their products.
