Did anyone have good hair growth with minoxidil?

Minoxidil ages you, increases the size of your pores, and creates lines in your forehead.  If long hair is worth looking older, proceed.

If you stop using it, the hair growth stops and falls out.

I'd look into other alternatives.

I've been using it for a while on my edges. Nothing else worked. It gives me enough hair to cover the scalp but the hair does not grow very long. It gives you fine baby hairs. And if you stop, it falls out. I've experienced it and had to start all over. I'm in the process of using a laser comb to see if I can get some permanent hair to grow there.

The hair infinity worked super well for me. Try that instead of the rogaine. I've used rogaine in the past and you have to continue using it forever.

My daughter used Hair Infinity and they worked great. OP I would try hair infinity before I resorted to this.

Confused   At first I thought this was a joke but I googled it and people are reporting this. I do have big pores and I'm trying to think if it came about around the time I started using it.
