And Mike is still hung up on that? Wow. I know he's bitter - he doesn't have a dime to his name and Brad is beyond rich now - but just sounds like sour grapes.
Hey, considering he used to beat the heck out of Robin he just needs to shut up and roll off in a corner somewhere. He can be as 'complex' as he wants to be but when it gets to violence like biting Evander's ear off at that fight and beating women .. and oh yes, that girl he raped - sorry, but he is yet another Black guy beating up on a Black woman and then trying to say .. it was her fault.
UGH! Loser, Nutcase. Gives me the creeps. | Gurrrrrlllllll.......

You know what he meant. Mike Tyson is perfectly sane. Stop projecting your issues onto him Southern.

I wish he had the capacity to express this sentiment better. |

Nah I'm cool. I don't eat cookies. But thanks for asking. And while he can be inarticulate at times, there was nothing confusing or unclear about that statement. People are such projectors. And no, I do not mean that you're an an object used to project rays of light. :) |
I can understand what he saying, she has had such an impact on making him a better person and his world bright that, that he wouldn't want to continue without her, so when she dies he wants to die to....its kind of a dependent relationship but I think its cute

Oh Becky. No one justified Tyson's actions. No one blamed Robin for the abuse. I believe that people are deserving of 2nd chances, and making mistakes doesn't mean that one is unworthy of living. People said it for Chris Brown, James Brown, Mike Vick, etc. I wouldn't vote for him to be President, but I genuinely wish the best for him in his life, as I would for anyone else.

I have a question as a result from becky's post Do you think when black men like Chris and Mike or Men in general display their issues on their sleeve or through violence do you think that as black women or as a society shouldn't we set up some type of safe haven on counseling to seek the root cause or prevent this from happening again...I just think if we anieliate(sp) them that will continue to fuel the fire.... and before you zealots jump off the deep end i'm not, not thinking about the victims, but I like solutions to problems not just crying about them.
