I am soooo sorry for your setback, but that's all it is.

Your hair will come back more gorgeous than ever.

I am wearing a cornrow right now.  It's been 4 days.  What is the max for wearing them before I encounter the tangling process.  BTW my hair is relaxed.

Thanks!

Cornrows should NOT be kept in any longer than 2 weeks.

Thanks for the heads up on the time span for wearing cornrows I was going to shoot for 4 weeks.  Now I know better.

But your hair looks like its been overprocessed, so that's probably the main reason the ends broke off. Maybe you could find a less damaging style for your relaxed hair- braids will not do bone-straight hair any good. I wouldn't baggy or soak braids either because your newgrowth will curl around the kanekalon and tangle into it. If you are already in braids you dont' need to do all that extra, especially if its cornrows (you should only have them in 2-4 weeks so they don't matt).

Thanks NN - I am going to take all this info on board and tweak my hair-care practices to suit my hair.

At the bolded - this is exactly what happened to my hair as you can see in my fotki. I was trying to manipulate less, that's why I kept them in for six weeks. I thought that the co-washes would keep my hair from matting butI know better now.

Everyone has given so much great advice and I am touched Embarrassed guys. Really I got so much support from everyone (and those at home). I does not seem so bad.Hug I feel the love....

It will be so much healthier this time, maybe a blessing in disguise. I know it's sad cause you had really gained some length. It will be fierce this time.
