I'm a minimalist, I don't need much space. I would need more closet space than anything else.

Yes. Short term, I could live like that in midtown Manhattan. I think that it is great for people that have a home elsewhere and are in the city monday thru friday for work.

yes, I would prefer to date a guy with a small micro apartment than a guy in a regular apartment with 3 roommates (which is common in NYC).

How small are we talking about? I have a dog, so I need some space or else he will go crazy.
But if the rent were $600 bucks, in a nice area of LA, and it had a full kitchen and a bathroom, I wouldn't give two f*cks.

I met a guy once who lived in a tiny apt (300sq ft or less),two blocks from the beach; it was not bad though, but it didn't have a kitchen, so I thought it wasn't worth it paying $800 for that.

I'm not that pressed to live in any city.  If I can't afford to be there and live comfortably, then I probably shouldn't be there.  I should stay where I am and save up money so I can move into a real people's apartment.

I was just posting in rt about wanting something similar. Yes I could/would. As I'm a single (and don't really see that changing) person used to living in rooms, apartments and dorms, 400 sqft would work for me. I've never really been sold on sprawling space and if I had a home, wanted something from the tumbleweed tiny house company. Downside to this would be if I had visitors or family from out of town that wanted a place to crash.

Yes. But if it worked out, we would need more room.
