I have been using Mayo as a deep conditioner for my 4c type hair and it is really showing a difference.

I leave it in for about 40 minutes with a shower cap to trap the heat in.

I have tried this once and I really liked it! Sadly, I love Mayo on my sandwiches more. I also have used Avocado. Makes my curls bounce back after I press.

It works great for me, but I can't take the smell even with essential oils.

I used it every two weeks and once a month I mix it with one raw egg and olive oil. The result is the most shiny and healthy hair I get during the entire month! I just love it!

@TheTinyAmazon thats what i do too! I think its called a protein treatment though. Every since i was four my mom would put that on my hair and tell me its a "perm" because it help dentalge my hair so well lol. Now that I am older i still use it but sometimes i add different kind of oils (sesame, olive, flax, and etc.) that helps so well.

I've never tried mayonnaise in my hair. I did try honey and yoghurt and molasses, which was sticky, but it did look very shiny. Smile
