Those were covers, though. They weren't tryna play it off like they actually made the shyt up.

If the lyrics are different why do you need to credit someone?
All inspiration needs to be credited?

Boys to Men's "End of the Road" and the Spinner's "It Takes a Fool" sound very similar to me(the music in the begining), I think it's just something that most artist do and we point out those who we don't particularly care for.

And nothing's wrong with that. Not the same circumstances at all.

Too many of her songs are like that though.

Meh when I was younger my sister loved her some Alicia Keys and I listened to a lot of the people she copied so I happened to notice. It's not that I don't liker her at all. I just think she's slick.

Whether I like her or not has no bearing on the facts I've stated. Maybe you just like her. *shrugs*

I do like her.
But I can name a million songs that sound alike to take melodies from each other.
I'm not gonna single one person out for sh*t all writers/producers do.

If you listen to any modern artist you will come to same conclusion.

It just so happens that I haven't yet. I'm not singling her out. I like a lot of her stuff. I like a lot of older R&B. I like a lot of piano and other classical. I noticed. It is what it is.
