this is that sh*t I don't like

off topic....whenever I am out to lunch by myself (which I do often) I hear a lot of people talking about current projects, future projects, career related stuff with their co workers (I eavesdrop)

is it weird that this is all I want to talk about at work....I don't want to discuss your personal problems or pop culture

No. At work and away from work, all I want to talk about is how to build opportunities and how to make & grow money. Seriously. I come to BHM, IG, etc for the fun & bs. I excuse myself from converations about pop culture etc at work and in social settings.

WF is in a very different situation

Where the majority of people are black and I'm guessing but more women than we might encounter at work here

So the topics would be different

I would never discuss or want to discuss pop culture with colleagues here, they can tell me about their families and I'll give words of support but that's as personal as it gets ...

I really don't want to know what's going on in their heads

if my co workers were mostly black I still wouldn't talk about stuff like this lol (my hypothetical  black co workers would probably call me cold or saddity)

one advantage to working with less black people....one

She does look like she could be Angolan. They are beautiful people. Thumbs Up to all the Black lusophones.

And while biracial wouldn't immediately cross my mind I would just shrug if she revealed that. She looks like she could be either.

Tracy Bingham. She looks like a mash up of Tracy and Rosci. Weird, I know but I can see it but thankfully in a complimentary way.

She's beautiful.
