Uh. But you did.

FSU is about to bounce too. They are watching this Maryland move really close to see if we can bring down the exit fee. I also heard the big 10 is trying to poach some other ACC schools. This is only a rumor though. |

I know I said this before, But I can't keep up this debate if you are going to read what you want instead of what I mean. Enjoyed it though (up until then).

There is a period between those two sentences. This is not a cause and effect statement. They stand independent of one another.

How can you not read? I didn't say fsu will leave if Maryland can bring down the exit fee. They wanted to leave before, they will want to leave after. But if they do leave, they will want to look at what maryland did to bring down the exit fee. Is this truly too much for you to understand?

I disagree still. But I guess we will see. If FSU sees us take down the 52 mill exet fee, they are as good as gone. Gtech is further away from leaving I will admit, but I wont be surprised if they join us. Delany knows how to entice a school. lol
And my last point still stands, regardless of the exceptions. The tv deals will leave with the schools. |

that's what I wrote. But what I just posted above is what I meant. All that will do is speed up the process. FSU wanted out before Maryland left. Are we clear?

1st bold. Keeping options open =/wanting to leave.
2nd bold. Exactly the point of the original metaphor re: domino pieces. They simply CANNOT leave if Maryland doesn't lower the exit fee, even if they did, for arguments sake, want to leave.

They could leave even with the 52 milly exit fee. But I doubt they want to pay all of that when they can pay less.

FSU doesn't want out, unless they get an offer from the SEC that isn't going to come. They want security from the conference they are already in.
They aren't itching to get out and they aren't waiting for the exit fee to lower so they can pack their bags.
