i read this in the nytimes or wsj, cant remember which one, they used the same wording, forgotten is a bit misleading, they just didnt give a fcuk that he was there.

If he was complacent and was just like  it Im just chiling I dont think he deserves that amount. I just dont see a person of sound mind and judgement just stitting in there for past 2 weeks without finally getting solid answers for themself.
If he did speak up, and made several attempts and got brushed to the side and not treated fairly he deserves every dime.
Something tells me this man had no where to go so staying in prison was ok with him. idk just my feeling

uhm...2 years of solitary confinement w/o a conviction is cruel and unusual. that sh*t aint supposed to happen REGARDLESS of your prior acts. smdh. but it's evidence that the criminal justice system is not rehabilitative but just punitive

wow. I was just reading about the man in Ohio who got $13 million for a wrongful conviction after serving 13 years.
