I have oily skin year round.

In the winter int is less, but I still have issues with my makeup staying on.

Right now I have been using the I an creme stick foundation for at least 3 years. Maybe it's time for a change?

It will not stay on anymore. My the end of the workday my fax sis oily and my foundation looks like I barely have any on.

I have used the elf setting spray after applying my makeup, I have used monistat and milk of magnesia to prime along with a drugstore brand of primer that also did not work.

Has anyone with oily skin used anything that truly help their makeup stay in place all day? Or maybe a full coverage foundation that won't wear off?

you may want to try revlon colorstay...are you setting with powder after foundation? Also skindinavia or urban decays setting sprays for oily skin work much better than elf for me. I also use an oil reducing moisturizer... hope one of those suggestions helps.

Revlon and maybelline don't match my skin well. I use earth 7 in iman if that helps.

I will look up the sprays at ulta. Thanks.

My skin is oily too.  I cannot do those foundation sticks at all.  So I would switch to a long lasting foundation.  Ive been using Lancome Teint Idole.  My other favorite is Revlon color stay but the shades are limited.

ETA:  Setting powder and blot powder is a must for me.  I set my foundation with Mac studio fix powder and Mac translucent pwder. I also carry the studio fox powder in my purse to touch up my t-zone.

Oily skin and cream foundation is rarely a good combo.

Try Black Radiance primer, it will suck up all the oil. It makes my combo skin a bit dry, had to stop using it.

Also, after your apply your foundation take a tissue and blot out all the excess oil. Then press your powder with a puff. Let is sit for a moment then brush off.

You may have to touch up more often.

What do you think would be the best type of foundation? Iman used Tom do me good, and matches me to a tee, but I cannot get it to stay on my face anymore!

I'm scared of any liquid foundation

Don't be scared...lol

If you like cream and comfortable with cream, just try prepping your face in a different way.
