I wear makeup most of the time and of course my lace however I dont know what to do. If I am putting on my wig for the first time I apply my makeup simultaneously so it's easy to make sure the adhesive and the makeup don't clash however I am having problems especially now that I am going out daily and my routine has changed in regards to making sure that my face looks presentable. sometimes I have problems and I need to know what you ladies do :

1. When I apply my makeup how can I keep it off the hair especially when I wear lighter colored hair and my makeup is darker ?

2. How do I wash my face amd or take off my makeup without getting my hairline or hair wet ?

3. How do I keep the makeup from getting on the hair when I perspire ?

4. What if any products do you use for removal of your makeup ?

I welcome any and all suggestions

how far down your hairline are you applying your lace front?I apply mine right at my natural hair line and i wear MAC it competely blends into my skin, i dont apply alot of make up around my hair line just a little and i wash my face as normally would with out a lace front and i have no problems, if you are worried about the lace lifting try using an alcohol free face wash and remove with a fresh wash cloth everyday

Thanks Sexi I thought about getting the air brush system but I know it takes a moment to master it and I really like the brand I use it seems to give me good coverage.. I have temporal alopecia so I shave my hairline a little and apply my unit over my normal hairline . Its just that sometimes the makeup gets on the hair .I use Mac makeup-for my shadow and foundation and lancome powder but I still find it difficult to keep it off the hair especially when I use powder.

I usually usebare minerals makeup since it's about the only kind I trust putting on my skin and I never have any problems. . not sure about a liquid one though but I know when I wash my face in the morning and at night I put on a shower cap and to make sure it fits right since they're usually always big I pull the back and tie it with a hairtie.  Sometimes it might get a little wet along the hairline but not much I just make sure to take it off and pat dry right away.

CHILD I LOVE MY AIRBRUSH.. i am flawless everyday, my skin is glowing and beaming i wouldn't trade it for the world.. i don't have to go into the hairline to apply just airbrush lightly in that area, and amazingly it doesn't go in the hair, your eyes or nothing.. it does take time to learn it properly but once you do, ain't nobody gonna be able to say nothing to you.. LOL and it stays on until take it off, no touch up needed, its glowing all day into the night.;..

I use dermablend as well, but not the translucent setting powder, I use warm saffron (closer to my skin tone).

1. When I apply my makeup how can I keep it off the hair especially when I wear lighter colored hair and my makeup is darker ?  When I apply my make-up, i usually use small duck clips to pin over the hair so that the make-up and setting power do not get into the hair or on the lace.

2. How do I wash my face amd or take off my makeup without getting my hairline or hair wet ?  I would usually tie a scarf around the perimeter just at the edge of the lace.

3. How do I keep the makeup from getting on the hair when I perspire ?  Waterproof Setting powder.
