it's so strange that you need a reason to appreciate someone's beauty...like you have to justify liking her because she's not the "normal" standard of beauty lol

It's a metaphor. Not sure if that needed to be said. But black women on TV for the past few decades have pretty much been clones. It gets old.

I wonder if they'll make her wear a weave if she takes a black movie that's not about slavery...the oneswith the usual characters.  Since short hair is now her  signature look she can probably get away with keeping it that way.
