I want to loosen my natural curls. once i get out of the shower..my hair is long, and soft. and as it starts getting dry, it becomes rather tight, frizzy, and i hate to put so much product into my hair, jus for it to maintain a nice curl..and even so..it still strinks up and becomes a poof. Ive tried mousse, gel, cream, anti frizz...list goes on

SO my question is: Is there a not so harsh chemical treatment to create loose, soft curls? Or does any one know a product that can help.

I dont want to blowdry and flat iron my hair every week, jus to get a cute style..I am currently trying to grow it, and i know the less i mess with it the more healthier it will grow

My hair type would be 3C on good days and when its horribly dry 4a

I find that braid sets w/olive oil cream and lottabody setting lotion seem to be the only thing that loosens my curls to a 3c or 3b texture.

I also used Olive oil Ecostyler Gel it really helps 4a &b curls loosen up the curls better than any product I've encounter and it's very cheap good pricing

Also  the curly primer method may work http://tightlycurly.com/technique/curlyprimer/

Put a conditioner like V05 or suave naturals in your hair when it's still soaking wet, and use alot of it.  It doesn't loosen curls, it acts to moisturize your hair.

I'm way late on this but yes it's left in.  It can be done after washing and/or co-washing.
