I think top schools have more of an allure to me, because I assume they have it really easy. It could really just be hard for everyone.

yes but the schools in the OP are not worth a full price IMO. harvard? yeah go. regardless of the debt bc u will be hired regardless cornell? maybe not. know some unemployed grads who can't bank on that name.
the old adage i used to hear was go T-14 or Howard if you're black.

It depends. The law school name is important if you do not have contacts already in the legal profession or you want to get into a decent sized firm. As far as the legal recession, it depends on what legal field you intend to pursue. After 7 years and you make a name for yourself, the school usually does not matter any longer. I practice energy law with a focus on energy markets (which is M&As, financing, etc) (very few AAs in the profession) and the field is heavily recruited.
BTW, I have been a lawyer for 18 years now. It is a great profession. Boy, do I feel old.

do you mind telling us the schools? regardless don't get into debt just because you're interested in the law. since most people hate law school you could just get a master's and see if they'll allow you to take some interdisciplinary courses. |
UC Irvine U of MD U of Richmond Howard U of DC U of Akron Southwestern La Verne Michigan State
waiting on UCLA (hands down where I would go)

Which one is free? I went to MSU for undergrad. I got in there, but they didn't offer any money. You are going to law school at a great time. Applications are at a 30 year low. That means you can get into a much better school. |
Damn...I should have went the law route...

When I first graduated ppl were going on and on about the nations recession....and You really can't group all fields together because things like m&a thrive off of recessions..so ppl needed to be looking there.
