Lil Wayne has lost his court battle against Quincy Jones III over the documentary Tha Carter. He also took another “L” with the countersuit that Quincy filed against him (Quincy claimed that Wayne prevented the release of the film and diminished his profit).
His loss is going to cost him some serious dough. The jury made the decision for Weezy to pay a whopping $2,195,000! Yikes!
Wayne’s behavior in the deposition video, in which he refuses to answer quetions and mocks the proceedings, might have affected the jury’s decision. His lawyer was forced to show the video because Wayne missed court and therefore his opportunity to testify because he was prohibited to fly due to his medical issues.
