The most high God brought me out of my mother's womb unharmed, when many people were sure I would have died. From the time I could talk I was praising the Lord, despite the fact that we were mislead by the church, but every year we were brought closer and closer to the truth. I'm happy to say that I've had him in my life for my whole life, and I feel truly blessed that he has been merciful to me, patient with me, and slow to anger. He has strengthened me, preserved me, made me whole, made me fearless, and caused me to be untouchable by the enemy. I don't care who doesn't like it, who thinks it's crazy, who doesn't believe. I know what I have experienced in my short life, and nothing could ever stop me from making it known that the God of Israel is mighty, and worthy to be praised forever.

OT: I always wanted to get up and testify and say ""I'd like to give an honor to god who is the head of my life..." and then name drop half of the congregation when I was a kid. I'd always wonder why they'd give honor to the pastor, the deacons, their wives and decendents. I never understood it.

I always knew god God was the answer . I donot consider myself saved and free from sin . No one is my op .The lord save my life and bless me too many times to count . I will never stop trusting god God. You have to pray and he will answer . Some people think it works like magic . SMH | no one is free from sin...(wish i could be though ) and i agree ppl do think it works like magic. we still have the same problems/temptations as anyone else...only difference is we will come out on top as long as we keep our faith/love/trust in Him. i mean i could tell yall some stories..some about my kids alone....but *sigh* i rather not get into any of that. its over and done.

Just realized that I didn't formally answer the OP. 1. I'm really not a 'Christian', I'm a believer who didn't do away with the Old Testament. Well like I said, I've always had an active relationship with God, and I
was raised in a home that encouraged analytical and critical thinking,
so as I became a teenager and life happened, I had some questions for
God. Those questions led to me digging for answers. I was honestly
looking for answers instead of reasons to disprove God's existence,
which is what I find a lot of people do. Anyway.. 2. What helped
me to make my decision was the truth that I found, coupled with the
truth that I'd lived so far, along with this feeling...like a magnet
pulling my heart. Like someone knocking on my heart every day. It is all
I thought about...I was drawn to it. God literally called me to truth
and I couldn't resist. 3. The hardest change I had to make was
to stop relying on my own understanding, and denying the ego. A lot of
Christian churches don't touch this subject, but the truth is, one
cannot have a true relationship with the God of Israel and have an ego
at the same time. We're not perfect, but we have to be conscious and
honest about ourselves. 4. I answered what the benefits are for me in my other post.

I'll just say that I don't look like what I've been through. The undeserved favor....

From my understanding the Most High of Israel calls his children when he deems them ready. That's how I got into this word. When you are called, you're able to receive a certain type of understanding and wisdom that most people don't have. Each and everyday I give all praises to The Most High of Israel for giving me the wisdom and understanding to be able to endure in this wicked society.
Most of the changes that I needed to make came gradually and surprisingly were not difficult at all. When you have a sincere fear of The Most High, everything that you are commanded to do comes easily. And quite frankly, the LORD has no qualms about kicking me in the rear if I refuse to listen
The biggest benefit is not having to worry or wonder why things are the way it is. I understand HIS will and the promises he made to myself, the elect and 1/3rd, so now I feel secure. I also understands the judgements that HE and HIS Angels execute everyday, so I'm never caught off guard. My ability to discern and see things from a spiritual perceptive always keeps me prepared for all the enemies and demons that come my way.
