For those who are saved and have chosen to live a Christian lifestyle, what helped you to make your decision? what were the hardest changes you had to make? What are the benefits you feel living for God

What made me come to GOD by the way of JESUS, is my childhood friends were dying unsaved and I didn't wanna follow suit. It wasn't hard to sto smoking weed cause the night I got saved I smoked a whole joint and didn't feel it. I felt a Heaviness that wasn't going to be lifted until I asked HIM to come into my life. GOD had been talking to me, telling me that I'd have a better life but it wasn't until that night March 19th 2002 that I said Yes... I Thank GOD Everday for all the benefits. I got a Good Paying City Job with only a High School Diploma and have kept it for 10yrs now. Family Healthy. Battles on the job that I don't have to fight cause HE does it for Me. Being Covered in the BLOOD OF JESUS to keep me and my family safe. So many other Blessings that I can't even name them all.... My 13yrs with GOD is better than the 28yrs without Him...it's so much Easier

I always knew god was the answer . I donot consider myself saved and free from sin . No one is my op .The lord save my life and bless me too many times to count . I will never stop trusting god . You have to pray and he will answer . Some people think it works like magic . SMH

I am saved but I am a pathological backslider. I definitely need to get back right with the Lord but through it all, He still continues to bless me.

no one is free from sin...(wish i could be though ) and i agree ppl do think it works like magic. we still have the same problems/temptations as anyone else...only difference is we will come out on top as long as we keep our faith/love/trust in Him. i mean i could tell yall some stories..some about my kids alone....but *sigh* i rather not get into any of that. its over and done.

I grew up in church so I've always known that I needed to live right, at times in my life I chose not to. One Sunday I went to church with my parents and I really enjoyed the service and the message hit home, I decided to start going back to church that day. Hardest change was switching to gospel music. Benefits are Im happier, more at peace, and I used to have a fear of death but now I know without a doubt that Im going to heaven.

The most high God brought me out of my mother's womb unharmed, when many people were sure I would have died. From the time I could talk I was praising the Lord, despite the fact that we were mislead by the church, but every year we were brought closer and closer to the truth. I'm happy to say that I've had him in my life for my whole life, and I feel truly blessed that he has been merciful to me, patient with me, and slow to anger. He has strengthened me, preserved me, made me whole, made me fearless, and caused me to be untouchable by the enemy. I don't care who doesn't like it, who thinks it's crazy, who doesn't believe. I know what I have experienced in my short life, and nothing could ever stop me from making it known that the God of Israel is mighty, and worthy to be praised forever.
