I'm currently taking a break from my LF's because the skin around my hairline is looking a little rough.  Plus, I just need a little rest from dealing with glues, tape, and the like.  For those of you who wear your own hair when taking breaks from LF's, (and I do understand there are those who wear them for medical resons) how do you wear your own hair?  Are you relaxed or natural?  How long do you take a break between putting on your units?  What styles do you do with your own hair?

I'm relaxed, usually I wear my hair in a bun or ponytail but yesterday I did a roller set, so it's down for the rest of the week.

I'm a "medical reason wearer"... I had hair down my back but the center of my head lost all the hair (approx. 4" diameterCry).  One day i just got fed up and took the clippers to the rest of my hair and wear it close cut ever since. No regrets... when i need a break from LF I usually throw on a cap for a few days and keep it moving...but only if I don't have any meetings planned...Wink

Yep I have a mushrooom (portabella) huge growth under this lace . . but it rebraid it every two weeks in different patterns  . .sometimes a circle, sometimes front to back.  When I go wig less I wear a cap or wrap it in a scarf.

I'm so addicted to the lf's that the longest break I've taken is about 4 days. During that time I'll wear it down and natural or all pulled back in a ponytail. I rarely ever put heat in my hair anymore.

I feel you, curly. I usually just wash/condition my hair then put it in a ponytail.

I have been wearing them almost nonstop  for 2 years and only going a few days in between, but now I'm ready to go a little longer...maybe a few months or so.  Now I feel like I have to reaquaint myself with doing my own hair again, lol.

I wear it natural every 3 months for about one or two weeks. I just have it flatironed, and I will start out rolling it, so I get that news anchor flip in it. But eventually I do a low pompadour with bun/ponytail.
